About us

What you can expect to get – really useful stuff.

In a coaching session.

Expect to learn a discipline, a method - the tools, techniques and tactics. You will also get to try out and test those skills in role-play exercises using scenarios you choose. You help to design your session.

In a consultancy session.

Expect to get ideas/advice on actual content and/or delivery for a specific upcoming event. Ask questions. Get answers. Try them out.

Why you can be confident – it is based on world-wide experience

The tests.

The “Neale Method,” has now been tried out across cultures, in a vast range organizations; for 25+ years and in 40+ countries. Several of the major clients count their relationship with Rob Neale, in decades. Often individuals come back several years after a training session; they are still using the core techniques and ask for similar coaching for the people who now report to them. Others like to keep building their skills – an update, a refresher or simply incrementally adding levels to their well-established base.

The context.

The method developed initially from Rob Neale’s having an inspiring University experience studying political philosophy and law at the University of Otago in NZ: all about questions, answers, reasons, meanings, proof, credibility. Then, the equally fortunate first career in radio and television as a reporter/interviewer/producer at a time of major societal change added a layer of very practical skills both in NZ and through brief attachments overseas. A second career as a senior public relations consultant in Singapore added cross-cultural insights. That was all enhanced and finessed by travelling the world to deliver communication/media skills for a handful of major global brands as well as the on-going experiences in NZ and South East Asia.

Here's a quick tip:

"In a presentation, get straight to the point.
Start with a brief executive summary.
Make it short enough for the audience to
immediately get their heads around but broad
enough to give a balanced picture.”
